Sons Hosea Green Tapley and John Pryor Tapley are with wife Lucy Pryor who married John Womack when both Hosea's are killed by Indians. Grandson Joseph David Tapley and his mother Eleanor Rogers McFarland go to Missouri. Joseph has brothers Hosea, John, Green and William Harris Tapley.
